Module content | The module covers the different parts of photonic systems, such as an optical telecommunication system. The contents include: laser sources (laser principles, semiconductor lasers), modulators (electro-optic, magneto-optic, acousto-optic), media (free space propagation, Gaussian beams, optical fibre) and detectors (photo-conductive, photo-voltaic). |
